On Thursday 2nd November Reception Class ventured into the Great Outdoors! They had a fantastic day exploring the beautiful National Trust site of Gibside. In the morning, the children were led by Bluebell the Fairy on a story telling trail around the estate. After a well earned lunch, the children turned into artists and made natural pictures using leaves and sticks, they painted with mud, made tree rubbings and they even made crowns fit for a Prince or Princess. It was a long day with lots of walking but it was a lot of fun!
