In this modern age of connectivity, there are more and more ways for all of us to access the internet, children and adults alike. The internet is a vast place, and can be scary. At St Philip Neri, we believe we need to prepare our children and equip them with the understand to make good decisions online. Our classes were visited by an e-safety specialist who taught us about how to be safe online by being SMART:

S- Safe, don’t talk to people you don’t know online.

M- Meeting, don’t meet strangers you speak to online.

A- Accepting files, don’t accept information or send information to other people on the internet.

R- Reliable, judge if someone or something is reliable and ask an adult if something asks you to enter personal information.

T- TELL SOMEONE! If you run into trouble on the internet, TELL SOMEONE!
