On Monday 9th July our choir went to the Sage Gateshead to rehearse and perform for The Angels of the North charity performance. The charity aims to provide medical aid and relief of hardship through grants, goods and services to those in need. Lots of school attended the event each with their choir representing them. The build up involved lots of early morning  practices at school for our choir.  It was a long day for everyone but it whizzed by. There was lots of rehearsals and choreography to learn! Being back stage at the Sage was quite exciting, seeing all the dressing rooms and the behind the scenes activities. During our break times we were able to venture out to the quayside for some well earned fresh air and a pizza for tea! All the hard work was worth it as it all paid off on the night! Everyone was very excited and nervous back stage, but once we were on stage, everyone was ready to go! The whole choir sounded amazing and it was quite breathtaking to see everyone  singing proudly. Lots of friends and family came to see and everyone said how amazing it was! Well done to everyone in the choir, not only did you give a super performance but also helped to raise lots of money for an excellent cause.
