On the 27th February, Year 1 were lucky enough to have a visit from Katie and Kirsten from Fun Little Foodies. They talked to us about how to stay safe and healthy when cooking and taught us a range of skills. We learnt how to smash, mash, mix and spread out the ingredients to make a delicious berry cheesecake. Next we worked hard learning how to gently smash and peel an egg ready to make party eggs. We even added a flourish of paprika on the top. We had a great afternoon with lots of new experiences as well as trying some different foods. Some of us were especially taken with the sour lime we used for our cheesecake!
