As part of our Great Fire of London topic we learnt new colour mixing skills. We spent time investigating how to mix primary colours to make secondary colours and how using white and black could change the shade of the colours. Using these new skills we produced artwork depicting a scene of The Great Fire of London. We made orange and then changed the shade and tone of it to replicate the fire in the background of our pictures. We then used black paper to create a silhouette of the buildings in the foreground. We are really pleased with the final pieces.
